Community Safety Glasgows Lone Worker iPhone app is the ideal solution for those who don’t wish to carry a dedicated personal safety device. This BS8484 compliant app transforms your iPhone into a fully functioning personal alarm and Lone Worker safety solution. The app compliments our Lone Worker monitoring service, operated from our Glasgow based BS5979 Alarm Receiving Centre.

The app enables our clients to set an on-shift timer that will alert our ARC if they do not cancel the timer after conducting their planned task/duty. The app can also be used to summon the assistance in line with a pre-agreed escalation protocol. In addition to an on-screen Red Alert capability, the app can be configured to pair with a bluetooth activation button, that can be used to request assistance discreetly.

CSGs Alarm Receiving Centre was established in 1998 to provide monitoring services for Glasgow City Council‘s portfolio of properties. Since then our business has grown to provide monitoring services UK-wide.
We use the latest technology to monitor, receive and respond to all types of alarm activations, providing tailored alarm monitoring solutions for installers and customers.

In addition to Lone Worker monitoring, the ARC’s services include monitoring of property alarms, electronic tagging, CCTV on alarm, access control and remote alarm set/unset.

We operate a False Alarm Policy, filtering out thousands of false alarms and minimising the number of calls passed to the emergency services. This leaves the Police and Fire Service free to deal with genuine calls.

CSG handle in excess of 30,000 alarm activations, and 50,000 calls per year, and respond to 98% of intruder alarms within 90 seconds and 98% of fire alarms within 30 seconds.

Lone Worker activations and other personal life safety alarms are given the top priority.
